Data Deletion Policy

Overview

Verzap is committed to protecting your privacy and giving you control over your data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your data and what happens when you do.

How to Delete Your Data

You can request data deletion through any of the following methods:

Option 1: Delete via Dashboard

Log in to your Verzap dashboard, go to Profile & Security, scroll to the Danger Zone section, and click Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data.

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to privacy@verzap.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include your registered email address and business name. We will process your request within 30 days.

Option 3: WhatsApp Callback

If you interacted with a business that uses Verzap and wish to have your data removed, contact the business directly or email us at privacy@verzap.ai with your phone number and the business name.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your user profile (name, email, phone number)
  • Your business profile and settings
  • All conversation history and messages
  • Customer records and contact information
  • Order and appointment records
  • Campaign data and follow-up configurations
  • Response rules and AI settings
  • Uploaded files and media
  • Login sessions and security logs

What Is Retained

For legal and regulatory purposes, we may retain the following for up to 90 days after account deletion:

  • Payment transaction records (required for financial compliance)
  • Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (cannot be linked back to you)

Deletion Timeline

  • Dashboard deletion: Account deactivated immediately. Data permanently deleted within 7 days.
  • Email request: Acknowledged within 48 hours. Data deleted within 30 days.
  • Customer data removal: Processed within 30 days of verified request.

Facebook/Meta Data Deletion

If you connected your account through Facebook Login or WhatsApp, you can also manage your data through your Facebook Settings > Apps and Websites page. Removing Verzap from your connected apps will trigger a data deletion callback on our end.
